Time first
Choose walking, cycling, driving, or public transport and set the travel time that feels right. The app filters the list around that preference instead of showing every place in the city.
Choose how long you want to travel, then the app finds restaurants that fit your plan.
We can only show restaurants that are listed in our available data sources, so some restaurants may not appear.
Choose your travel time and transport mode to get started.
Built for real decisions
Most restaurant lists start with a map radius. Restaurant Me starts with the question people actually ask: how long am I willing to travel, and how am I getting there?
Choose walking, cycling, driving, or public transport and set the travel time that feels right. The app filters the list around that preference instead of showing every place in the city.
Use your current location, pick another point on the map, or enter an address. That makes it useful at home, while traveling, or when planning where to meet someone.
Every result links to Google Maps directions. When available, the app also shows the restaurant phone number, website, and Google page, plus a shareable restaurant card and QR code.
Data sources
Restaurant Me combines available restaurant data from Google Places when configured and OpenStreetMap as a fallback. Results are grouped by cuisine or restaurant type, then ordered by estimated travel time from the chosen starting point.
The app uses straight-line estimates for speed and responsiveness, then sends you to Google Maps for the final route. Opening hours, temporary closures, traffic, transit disruptions, and missing listings can affect what you see.
Restaurants not listed in our available data sources may not appear here. Before making a long trip, check the restaurant page or call ahead.
Privacy
The browser asks for location access only when you start a current location search. Restaurant Me uses the coordinates to find nearby restaurants and estimate travel choices for that request.
Questions
A restaurant has to be present in the data sources the app can read. New places, small venues, and restaurants with incomplete listings may be missing.
They are estimates for choosing a shortlist. Google Maps provides the live route when you open directions.
